Hours of Operation:
The park is open from sunrise to sunset. Some areas are lighted at night, but visits after dark are discouraged.
Directions:
The most accurate address for mapping is 2500 W. Sunset, Carbondale, IL 62901. Parking lot signage will guide you to the dog park adjacent to the building at this address.
If you’re approaching from Carbondale via Route 13 (Main Street), make a left turn onto N. Emerald Lane. Follow it to a T intersection, then make a right onto W. Sunset Drive. Proceed west for about a quarter mile. The parking lot entrance will be on your right.
If you’re coming from Murphysboro on Route 13, make a right turn onto “Old Highway 13.” Continue southwest for less than a quarter mile, then turn left onto N. Parrish Lane. Head south until you reach the first stop sign, then turn left onto W. Sunset Drive. The parking lot entrance will be on your left after about 700 feet.
