Carbondale’s public dog parks will only become a reality with the support of the community. Friends was formed as a 501(c)3 organization in order to raise the funds necessary to build and maintain one or more parks. We offer several methods by which you can make your contribution count.

Of course we accept donations by check sent to this post office box! However, please also send an email to let us know that it’s on the way. (We feel that the US Postal Service has been inconsistent and less reliable recently.)

Directions to the Park: The most accurate address for mapping is 2500 W. Sunset, Carbondale, IL 62901. Parking lot signage will guide you to the dog park adjacent to the building at this address.
Hours of Operation: The park is open from sunrise to sunset. Some areas are lighted at night, but visits after dark are discouraged.
